Aeronautical Telecommunications Limited (AEROTEL), is a subsidiary organization, which provides Engineering and Specialized Telecommunication services to the JCAA, on behalf of the Government of Jamaica, in keeping with the Standards and Recommended Practices of the International Civil Aviation Organization.

Formed in 1978, to support and maintain the Communications and Navigational systems being used by the former Civil Aviation Department, AEROTEL now installs and maintains the telecommunication, electronic, electrical and data communication equipment, which are required for the provision of Jamaica’s air navigation services.
