Sangster International Airport

The Sangster International Airport (MBJ) (IATA: MBJICAO: MKJS) is widely considered to be a leading tourism gateway, offering access to the island of Jamaica.

Located on the northwestern coast of the island in Montego Bay, St. James, the airport provides immediate access to a variety of Jamaica’s main tourism attractions, amenities and regions, located in Montego Bay, Ocho Rios, Negril, the South Coast and throughout Jamaica.

Sangster International is the largest of Jamaica’s three international airports and Airport Operators, MBJ Airports Ltd. indicate that 72% of Jamaica’s visitors use the SIA as their primary airport.

In 2016, the airport copped the World Travel Awards “Caribbean’s Leading Airport” for the  9th consecutive year.
