The Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority issues two categories of licence:
- Personnel Licence – provides licence for Jamaican Pilots, Aircraft Maintenance Engineers, Air Traffic Controllers and Flight Dispatchers
- Air Service Licence, Permits and Clearances – Air Operators applying to transport People, Mail and Cargo by air.
