On August 15, 2024, a Piper Seneca PA-34 veered off the runway while landing at Tinson Pen and crashed coming to rest beside a hangar at the facility.

On Saturday, January 6, 2024, at approximately 0555 UTC, the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority received a report from the Jamaica Defence Force. They discovered an unidentified aircraft on an unregulated airstrip in Braes River, St. Elizabeth. The aircraft appeared to have crashed.
