The Economic Regulation Department of the Jamaica Civil Aviation Authority has responsibility for the orderly development and expansion of air transport in Jamaica on a sound economic basis. As a member of the Air Policy Committee, the department also provides advice to the Government of Jamaica on the economic regulatory aspects of the aviation industry in Jamaica.

- The Airports (Economic Regulation) Act 2002
